Paul Ford, from Launceston in Cornwall, won first place for full beard and moustache under an inch in length. “After our previous events we took a little break, and then Covid forced us to take a longer break,” said Mike. “We just want everyone to have a good time, and help us raise plenty of money for our chosen charities, the Devon and the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trusts,” added Mike.

Things could be getting a little hairy across the border next month when one of the most unusual competitions in the UK comes to Plymouth.

There’s many different categories of beards and moustaches, including Short Beard (think ‘Action Man’) and the crazy creations of Freestyle.
